Kudos Mohan Sharma

Delhi Police Special Cell officer Mohan Chand Sharma, who lead the team that killed two terrorists and arrested another in an encounter in Jamia Nagar on Friday morning, is dead. The 43-year-old and seven gallantry award winner officer received several bullet injuries during the encounter. In his 19 years of service, the Delhi Police Special Cell encounter specialist was credited for killing 35 terrorists and arresting at least 80 others. As Sharma took his last breath on Friday, a greatly indebted nation grieved the loss of a hero. Delhi Police Commissioner YS Dadwal said Sharma was a highly decorated police officer and had won seven gallantry medals including a President's award. “We have lost our best man,” Dadwal said.

Also there was a rally by some Muslim Sangh in Delhi yesterday in which all paid their homage to the Hero while shouting "Jab tak Suraj chand rahega Sharma ji ka naam rahega" and cursed terrorism. Thats the way to go ...

That's the way!

Now That's how you fight terror. Hit them when it hurts most. Look out for their dens and nail them all down. Kudos Delhi police ! This is what we call being 'offensive' in fight against terror. Defensive approaches never suffice. You can not prevent every attack but you can certainly reduce their number if you take this approach. Inculcate a fear in their mind! Dare them make the bombs and plant. Make them feel that they will be hunted down!

This should not be a one-off incident of glory. Don't be complacent just yet. Bust the whole terror system throughout the country.
